PERSONAL ARTWORKS

My works pay homage to my spiritual beliefs and life experiences. These pieces correlate with both modern contemporary and traditional art practices. With these works I wanted to capture an evoke an ethereal feel, with a whimsical intrigue, all while creating a surreal and seductive ambience. My composition of light and positioning creates a variety of curious images, which conjure up new “spiritual” narratives of ones self. A recurring theme of mine is the use of animals as both watchful caretakers as well as fierce warriors when needed. The surreal compositions I wanted to allude to strength, flight and bravery, rather than fragility much like the saying” nature is a benevolent friend and ally and all living things are connected by spirit with none lesser than the other” for we are one.
