Sometimes I find it hard to put into words why I shoot boudoir photography. To me, boudoir is so much more than just photos. A Boudoir Experience is about self-acceptance, body positivity, and it is about seeing your body as the beautiful work of art that it is. It is about getting dolled up and laughing your butt off. It’s about the transformation that takes place between the time you walk in for a photoshoot with me and continues long after you walk out that door. It is about feeling beautiful, and i believe every women deserves to feel that way. I started shooting boudoir photography because I saw the beauty in every women that has passed before me. I believe that I can help everyone see the person I do when I when I’m looking through my camera lens. Women tell me they feel they can’t look “that beautiful” because they feel too tall, weigh too much, or have too many stretch marks. I love showing each of them the photos from their photo shoots and showing them that they CAN, in fact, feel beautiful. Seeing their reactions to the photos makes me realize that this is exactly where I am supposed to be, here helping women see their true beauty.
